This is a project role, not a monthly close role. You will work directly with the Director of Finance on the finance workstreams that need to be right before the group goes to market: vendor due diligence, a centralised banking and treasury function, capex governance, and the clean-up of the workbooks and processes that sit behind our numbers. You will own projects end to end, not just support them.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate vendor due diligence across financial, tax, IT and legal workstreams, including trackers, data rooms and adviser queries.

• Ensure VDD deliverables are accurate, well-evidenced and completed to deadline, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

• Lead finance projects end to end, including new product launches and wider finance transformation initiatives.

• Partner with Product, Technology and Compliance to establish appropriate accounting, tax, reporting and controls for new products.

• Own capex and capitalisation processes, including the capex register, supporting evidence, reconciliations and budget reporting.

• Manage key internal and external stakeholders, including BDO and other advisers, ensuring queries and deadlines are effectively managed.

• Improve finance workbooks and processes by strengthening controls, reducing manual work and creating scalable, well-documented solutions.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 5+ years’ post-qualification experience.

• Experience in transaction/project work, including due diligence, audit, integration or systems implementation.

• Multi-entity, multi-currency group experience.

• Advanced Excel skills, including reviewing and improving complex workbooks.

• Strong prioritisation, problem-solving and written communication skills.

• Experience in regulated sectors such as gaming, payments, fintech or financial services is desirable.

• Business Central, treasury/cash management or AI finance automation experience is advantageous.
