About the role

We’re looking for a Risk and Compliance Officer to join our growing team and play a key role in safeguarding the business while enabling innovation and sustainable growth. You’ll sit at the heart of our risk and compliance function, helping to identify, manage, and mitigate risks, while supporting the wider business in embedding compliance into everyday decision-making.

This role is ideal for someone with industry experience in a regulated environment who is ready to deepen their expertise in risk management and compliance. You’ll bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical, business-friendly solutions.

In addition to risk and compliance responsibilities, there’s the opportunity to support in a secondary specialist area such as data protection, or marketing compliance - a valuable “nice to have” that will help broaden your impact across the business.

What You Will Do

• Assisting in the development, implementation, and review of compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory and internal standards.
• Supporting risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and monitor regulatory, operational, strategic, and reputational risks.
• Maintaining a risk register, tracking issues, monitoring mitigation actions, and escalating concerns to management when necessary.
• Monitoring regulatory updates (e.g. UKGC, ASA, ICO, etc) and helping the business adapt processes proactively.
• Escalating and following up on compliance issues and risks, ensuring effective remediation and lessons learned.
• Supporting the evaluation of new products, services and partnerships from a compliance and risk perspective.
• Conducting horizon scanning to identify emerging regulatory or industry risks early.
• Promoting a culture of compliance across the business through engagement and education.

What We're Looking For

• 2–3 years’ experience in a compliance or risk role within the igaming industry
• Strong understanding of compliance principles and a clear interest in regulatory risk.
• Industry knowledge of UK gambling regulation, including exposure to safer gambling, AML frameworks, and marketing compliance.
• Excellent relationship management skills; able to influence, collaborate, and build trust across diverse teams.
• Ability to translate complex regulation into clear, practical advice tailored to the audience.
• Confident with data analysis, able to spot trends, ask the right questions and suggest improvements.
• Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-moving environment.
  A curious, proactive approach with the drive to learn, adapt, and improve processes.

Nice to have

While not essential, experience in any of the following areas would be a massive bonus:

• Data Protection (GDPR/ICO frameworks)
• Marketing and advertising compliance
• Broader governance, assurance, or audit
